Happy Easter from Haiti! We were thankful to be able to host another sunrise service on our rooftop this morning! And it did not rain as it has almost every morning this week!

“For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”  John 3:17

Jesus is alive forevermore! Through faith in His shed blood, we can also have new life in Christ. We can tell the world the good news of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

Change in Plans
Susie has returned to Ohio for awhile to help her parents with some medical issues they are experiencing and she has already been gone for three weeks. It’s starting to look like we will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary apart. We will have to do something special later!

Flexibility: susceptible of modification or adaptation; adaptable.
Now there’s a word we have become very familiar with!

We're all looking forward to being together again soon!

Special Visitors, Morgan & Grace!

Grace and Morgan dove head-first into Haiti!

Grace and Morgan dove head-first into Haiti!

Our niece and cousin, Morgan Walder, came to Haiti for the first time this month and she brought her friend Grace LoDolce along! Did we ever have some good adventures with those two! We showed them almost everything we could think of. Every time we asked if they wanted to do or try something new they nodded their heads “YES!” They loved the beach, the waves, looking for shells, a magical waterfall, and most of all, the Haitian kids!

Nothing prepared them for the waves at Rainbow Beach!

Shelling soon seemed to be the favorite activity for all the girls!

Looking for shells was a big hit with all the girls!

I think they hated the hard hike up this hill!

It was hard work getting up this hill, but they pushed themselves! They will probably never forget the unfriendly ram they met on the way back down!

We hope your time here in Haiti is not soon forgotten! You have big hearts and we will see God use you both in big ways! Thanks for sharing a part of yourselves with us for one week.

Both the girls had birthdays a day apart while they were here!
